Your Members Only user account will also allow you to view locked pages and gain access to protected web services features that are reserved for PCCS Members. This information is provided to answer any questions that you may have with regard to obtaining a new PCCS user account and the management of those accounts. If you have a question or concern that is not addressed on this page, you can contact the for further assistance. How do I get a PCCS User ID and Password? If you do not have a User ID and Password, the first step is to contact your "PCCS Members Only Account Administrator". Your "PCCS Members Only Account Administrator" has the ability to initiate the user account activation process. Not sure who your "PCCS Members Only Account Administrator" is? You can find the current "PCCS Members Only Account Administrators" in the table below. What if my school or business is not shown in the table below? If you cannot find your school or business in the table below, your organization does not currently have a "PCCS Members Only Account Administrator". In this case, the first user account that should be created for your organization is the "PCCS Members Only Account Manager". This would be the individual in your organization that is either the main contact or the individual that is responsible for the PCCS annual dues. Send the following information to to initiate the user account activation process (first name, last name, email address, organization name). And please use "PCCS User Account" as the subject line of your email. What can I expect after I contact my "PCCS Members Only Account Administrator" or the PCCS webmaster? To initiate the user account activation process, you will contact your "PCCS Members Only Account Administrator" that is associated with your organization, or you will contact the PCCS webmaster if your organization does not have a "PCCS Members Only Account Administrator". In either case, an email will be sent to your email address when your information is entered into the PCCS web site. This email will contain a hyperlink (web site link) that is specially encoded just for you. When you click on this link, a page will appear that will allow you to enter your own User ID and Password. When you complete this task, the user account activation process is complete and you will have access the Members Only area of the PCCS web site. IMPORTANT: You must receive the user account activation email to complete the user account activation process. If you use Spam-Filtering on your computer, or if your ISP or IT department has Spam-Filtering software installed on its network, please have the email address server@pachartercoalition.com defined as an "allowed", "known", or "friendly" email address. Otherwise, email messages from the pachartercoalition.com web server may be flagged as Spam and not reach your Inbox. How do I create new user accounts for my staff members? As the "PCCS Members Only Account Administrator", you have the ability to initiate the user account activation process. To create new user accounts for your organization, log-in to your PCCS User Account and click on the "My PCCS" link that appears in the drop-down menu list under Members Only. Then click on the "Manage Users" link that appears under the Membership Account that you would like to create new user accounts for. (It is possible to have more than one Membership Account per User Account, but most users will have only one Membership Account associated with their User Account.) When you click on the "Manage Users" link, the Manage Users interface will open. From this page, click on the "Add New User" link to open the Add New User form. Enter the new user's First Name, Last Name, Email Address, and select the appropriate value the User Access Level option. If you want this user to have the ability to manage the organization's user accounts, select "Admin". Otherwise, select "User". When you click "Submit" button, the new user's account will be created on the PCCS web site and an account activation email will be sent to the new user's email address. The new user's account will remain in the "pending" state until the new user opens the account activation email, clicks on the specially encoded hyperlink, and completes the user account activation process. Can more than one individual assume the "PCCS Members Only Account Administrator" role? Yes, multiple "PCCS Members Only Account Administrators" can be created for your organization. There will be only one individual that is defined as the "PCCS Members Only Account Manager". But as the "PCCS Members Only Account Manager", you can create a new administrator when you add new user accounts to your organization. Refer to previous paragraph for information on creating new user accounts. I have a lot of staff members. Do I really have to create a user account for each individual? It is in your best interest to create a user account for your staff members since many of the current (or proposed) features on the PCCS web site will require a user account for access. However, if you have a large number of staff members in your organization, there is an alternative to creating new user accounts one-at-a-time through the My PCCS > Manage Users interface. The PCCS web site can process new user account information from an Excel spreadsheet or character delimited file. Instead of repeatedly entering each staff member's information as described above in the "How do I create new user accounts for my staff members?" section, we can load your staff member information into a "batch process" and initiate the user accounts automatically. For more information on this option, contact the for acceptable file format options and other details. Why are some pages locked or unavailable even though I am currently logged-in? The PCCS web site has the ability to restrict access based upon three access levels; Associate, Executive, and Board Member. Depending upon your assigned access level, you may or may not have the authority to view a given web page or access a web services feature. If you cannot view a page or access a web services feature that you should be entitled to, please contact our office. As a PCCS Members Only User Account holder, what are my responsibilities? DO NOT share your User-ID and Password with anyone. If possible, DO NOT login to the PCCS Members Only area from a public work-station. Always logout from your User Account before you walk away from your computer. Always close-out your browser after logging out of your User Account. Keep your contact information up-to-date, especially your main email address. Report any problems to the PCCS Webmaster.
